17. ACCOUNT DELETION REQUESTS

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing hello@iwantchips.com with the subject line “Requesting Account Deletion.” Please include the email address associated with your account and any information we need to verify your identity.

Once we verify your request, we will deactivate your account and begin the deletion process. As described in Section 9 (Data Retention), we retain personal information for thirty (30) days from the date of inactivity/deactivation and then anonymize the data. We may retain certain information as required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements, and limited information may persist in routine backups for a short period consistent with our backup and disaster‑recovery practices.
